Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen welcomed the Moose Jaw Warriors this afternoon for a 2:00 p.m. start at Scotiabank Saddledome. It was the fourth annual 'Every Child Matters' Game presented by Siksika Health Services in partnership with the Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary, the Blackfoot Confederacy, First Nations Health Consortium and Siksika Family Services.

Moose Jaw was the first to open of the scoring with Brayden Schuurman scoring in the first five minutes. Brandon Gorzynski followed up for Calgary five minutes later to tie the game. Cosmo Wilson scored with two seconds left in the period to return the lead to Moose Jaw.

Calgary would trail for the rest of the game with Rilen Kovacevic, Kalem Parker, and Brayden Yager netting back-to-back goals to make it 5-1 heading into the final frame. Maxim Muranov would score the lone goal of the third period for his 14th of the season. Calgary would be held of the scoresheet for the remainder of the game making the final score 5-2. Calgary outshot Moose Jaw 37-35. They now sit with a record of 23-20-6-1.

Calgary opens a stretch of five straight games on the road on Tuesday, Feb. 13 when they visit the Rebels in Red Deer for a 7:00 p.m. start. Calgary will then play in Brandon (Feb. 16), Moose Jaw (Feb. 17) and Regina (Feb. 19) before their final stop in Edmonton (Feb. 21). Their next home game isn't until Friday, Feb. 23 when the Wenatchee Wild make their first-ever visit to Scotiabank Saddledome at 7:00 p.m.
