
Thunder Closes Holiday Weekend Tonight in Tulsa

Tulsa, OK - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers, AHL's Bakersfield Condors and powered by Toyota, closes the holiday weekend tonight with another trip to the BOK Center to face the Tulsa Oilers in the StoneWolf Casino Cup Series.
The Thunder are coming off a 4-2 loss last night in Kansas City while the Oilers were off. Tulsa is one point behind Kansas City for third place in the Mountain Division. Wichita is sitting in sixth place with 14 points, five back of Rapid City. Wichita and Tulsa will play three times in the month of December and then won't face each other until February 12th.
The Oilers are led by Adam Pleskach, who has 14 points (6g, 8a). Ryan Tesink is second with 11 points (2g, 9a). Steven Iacobellis leads the Thunder with 15 points (6g, 9a) and PC Labrie is second with 14 points (5g, 9a).
The Thunder returns home on Tuesday night to host the Kansas City Mavericks at 7:05 p.m.
