Thrashers Return Doell to Wolves

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned center KEVIN DOELL (DOLE) to the Chicago Wolves.

The 28-year-old forward and fifth-year pro made his National Hockey League debut with the Thrashers, recording one assist and four penalty minutes in eight games. DOELL has appeared in 33 games with the Wolves this season, racking up 14 points (7G, 7A) and 41 penalty minutes in 33 matchups.

The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native is Chicago's active leader with 244 regular-season games played, and has netted 112 points (43G, 69A) and 295 penalty minutes during that span. He recorded his first career AHL hat trick in a span of 77 seconds - a franchise record - on Dec. 15, 2007, against the Iowa Stars.
