San Jose Sharks Recall Tomas Plihal From Worcester

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson has announced that the club has recalled left wing Tomas Plihal from the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League, San Jose's top development affiliate.

Plihal has posted 11 points (five goals, 6 assists) in 20 games with Worcester this season. He is second on the team with a +4.

The six-foot-one, 200-pound native of Frydlant, Czech Republic, was selected by San Jose in the fifth round (140th overall) of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
