Third Annual Griffins/Sled Wings Tilt Tuesday

WHAT: The Grand Rapids Griffins will play a spirited game of sled hockey against the Grand Rapids Sled Wings, a talented team of physically challenged teenagers sponsored by the Griffins Youth Foundation, in partnership with Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.

WHO: The entire roster of Griffins will face off against the Sled Wings, who became the first junior-level sled hockey team in Michigan upon their founding in 2001.

WHEN: Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 6-8:30 p.m.

6-7 p.m.

Fans and media are invited to try out a sled on the ice for a $1 donation to the Sled Wings program and take part in an autograph session with Griffins players. A silent auction of sports memorabilia and a 50/50 raffle will also be held.

7-8:30 p.m.

TICKETS: $5 per person (free to children 2 and under) at the door.

All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Grand Rapids Sled Wings and the Griffins Youth Foundation.
