
Iowa Stars Face-Off Poker Tournament

Des Moines, IA - The Iowa Stars will join season ticket holders and fans at Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino for a Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament on Wednesday, January 23 beginning at 6:00 PM.
Iowa Stars fans will have the opportunity to win up to $11,000 in prize money while going head to head against their favorite Stars players in each round. There will be an Iowa Star at each of the 11 tables wearing a jersey autographed by the entire team. When a Stars player is knocked out of the tournament the winner of that hand will get the jersey off his back! Players entered in the tournament are #31 Tobias Stephan, #21 Janos Vas, #10 Marius Holtet, #11 Aaron Gagnon, #25 Chris Conner, #4 Chris Lee, #58 Francis Wathier, #3 Trevor Byrne, #6 Ethan Graham, #27 Dan Jancevski and #32 Brett Westgarth.
Hockey fans and poker fans alike are invited to sign up for the Iowa Stars Face-Off Poker Tournament by stopping in the Prairie Meadows poker room on level 4 to register and reserve a spot. The tournament is limited to 121 participants. The buy-in for the tournament is $100 and a $10 entry fee. Iowa Stars season ticket holders will receive $50 off the entry fee. Registration continues until January 23.
