'The Boys are Back' this weekend

Greenville Grrrowl News Release


GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL, proud affiliates of the Chicago Blackhawks and Edmonton Oilers have announced plans for this upcoming weekend when the team starts a three-game home stand. The Grrrowl finish a five-game road trip on Friday, with a game in Florence against the Pee Dee Pride. Greenville has won 3 of 4 games on the road trip and are currently tied for fourth place in the division with Pee Dee, and have an overall record of 21-18-4. The Grrrowl will play 11 games in the next 16 days, including 7 at the BI-LO Center.

SATURDAY – 2/12 (7:05pm vs Augusta Lynx)

· Youth Jersey Night – The first 750 Kids (12 and under) will receive a Grrrowl youth jersey compliments of Pepsi. TOP DOG Members (12 and under) are quarantined a youth jersey until 6:30pm on Saturday.

· The Grrrowl Soundstage will feature CRAIG BODIE

SUNDAY – 2/13 (3:05pm vs Louisiana Ice Gators)

· Post-game skate with the Grrrowl. Fans are invited to skate at the BI-LO Center following the game along with select Grrrowl players. Fans must provide their own skates.

· Ticket Exchange Date – TOP DOG Members can bring any unused tickets to the game and exchange for additional tickets to Sunday's game.

TUESDAY – 2/15 (10:35am vs Louisiana Ice Gators)

· Annual Education Day Game - special 10:35am start time. Students from elementary and middle schools from across the upstate will be on hand, along with many home school students and daycare centers. Each student is provided with an education packet that includes lessons on geography, language, Zamboni operations, etc.

Greenville will complete the current five-game road trip at Pee Dee on Friday (7:30pm), before returning to the BI-LO Center to host Augusta on Saturday, February 12, 2005.
