
Guns-N-Hoses Charity Game set for Saturday

ANCHORAGE, AK â Saturday, February 12, 2005 will mark the 5th Annual Guns-N-Hoses charity hockey game beginning at 4 pm at the Sullivan Arena. Aces fans can purchase a ticket to the Guns-N-Hoses game and get in free to the Aces game at 7:15 pm against Wheeling.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at all local fire stations and the Anchorage Police Department Headquarters. Proceeds from the Guns-N-Hoses game will go to the American Diabetes Association.
Guns-N-Hoses, developed by local firefighters, law enforcement agencies, and the Alaska Aces, offers family entertainment while the police and firefighters compete on the ice for charity. The Aces-Wheeling game will feature on-ice entertainment by both the police and firefighters at each intermission.
Aces season ticket holders and those who purchase a game day ticket to the 7:15 pm Aces game can also use their ticket to get into the Guns-N-Hoses game at 4:00 pm.
For more information about Saturday's game, or for tickets, please call the Aces office at 258-2237 or stop by the Aces box office on 15th and Gambell during regular business hours or Saturday from 12-5 pm.
The series with Wheeling begins on Friday February 11 at 7:15 pm and ends with Sunday's game at 5:05 pm. After the game Sunday all children in attendance may participate in "Skate With The Aces" and get autographs from their favorite players, courtesy of KeyBank.
All three games will be broadcast live on flagship station KFQD 750 AM and at www.alaskaaces.com with coverage beginning 20 minutes prior to the opening face-off.
