Peoria, Ill. (February 5, 2008) - President/CEO Bart Rogers announced today that "switchfoot," as part of their 2008 Up in Arms Tour, will perform in a post-game concert on Friday, April 11, following the team's game on San Antonio Rampage. In addition, Athlete will also perform as a special guest as part of the post-game concert.

"Coming down the stretch, our ownership has made the most significant commitment in our team's history to ratchet up the promotions to a level not seen in professional sports in Central Illinois, if not all of minor professional sports," Rogers said. "We've really made it happen for our season ticket holders, casual fans and even those who have yet to be exposed to Rivermen Hockey."

switchfoot (www.switchfoot.com) is currently touring in support of Oh! Gravity, their sixth studio album and third for Columbia Records. The San Diego-based band, started by brothers Jon (front man) and Tim Foreman, has often combined a spiritual bent with a critique of some of modern society's hypocrisies on songs like the Top 5 singles "Dare You to Move" and "Meant to Live," which allowed their Columbia Records-debut, The Beautiful Letdown, to go double platinum after its release in 2003.

Tonight - Tuesday, February 5, Comcast Spotlight presents WWE Diva & RAW Superstar "Maria," who will appear and sign autographs from 6-8:00 PM on main concourse; that night, the Rivermen also face off against the Manitoba Moose at 7:00 PM. On Tuesday, February 15, 105.7 The "X" Rocks! Presents the dEAf PEdESTRIANS live in a post-game concert; that night, the Rivermen battle the San Antonio Rampage at 7:00 PM.
