
Flames Welcome Fans To Promotion Filled Week

Moline, IL - The Quad City Flames welcome fans to the i wireless Center this week for an exciting trio of games and promotions. Wild Wednesday debuts this week with special deals on tickets and 12-ounce drafts. On Friday, Triple I Sports Cards is giving away a special five-card trading set to the first 2,000 fans. The week ends with a Sunday afternoon visit from the San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush Cheerleaders presented by Diamonds on the Avenue.
During each of the Flames remaining Wednesday home games, the team is hosting Wild Wednesday. Fans can purchase upper bowl tickets for just $5.00 at the i wireless Center Box Office. The great deals continue once fans enter the arena as 12-ounce draft beers are available for just $2.00. The Houston Aeros will be in town for the 7:05 p.m. face-off.
Friday night, Triple I Sports Cards in Moline is giving away a special "Flames First" trading card set to the first 2,000 fans. This special set features five highlights from the Flames inaugural season. The cards feature Grant Stevenson, Dustin Boyd, Curtis McElhinney, Eric Nystrom and Matt Keetley. All five of the players in this set have played in the National Hockey League! Friday night is also the first opportunity for fans to purchase the 2007-08 Flames Inaugural Season Trading Card Set. The sets will be available on the concourse throughout the game vs. Peoria. Face-off is at 7:05 p.m. It's also Scout Night as Boy and Girl Scout Troops are invited to the arena at a special group rate. Call (309) 764-7825 to get your Scout Group involved in the festivities.
On Sunday afternoon, the San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush Cheerleaders will be performing as part of the Flames 5:05 p.m. game vs. Rockford. Their visit is presented by Diamonds on the Avenue. The cheerleaders will perform prior to face-off beginning at 4:45 p.m. and during the first intermission. The Gold Rush team will also be signing autographs and greeting fans.
