Hamilton Bulldogs News Release

HAMILTON, ON - Hamilton Bulldogs President and Governor Glenn Stanford and Hamilton Entertainment and Convention Facilities Inc. (H.E.C.F.I.) Chief Executive Officer Duncan Gillespie announced today that the hockey club has signed a management services agreement with H.E.C.F.I. through the 2009-2010 season. Under the agreement, H.E.C.F.I. will manage all Hamilton Bulldogs ticket sales, sponsorship sales and advertising effective immediately.

"We are very pleased to have reached a management services agreement with Hamilton Entertainment and Convention Facilities Inc.", said Hamilton Bulldogs Majority Owner and Chairman Michael Andlauer. "I'd like to thank Glenn Stanford and Duncan Gillespie for their diligence in getting this deal signed." Andlauer added, "With H.E.C.F.I. using their extensive resources as an entertainment and facility operator, it makes logical sense to have them manage Hamilton Bulldogs sales and advertising at Copps Coliseum. This agreement will give us the ability to focus even more intently on the hockey club, on our growing efforts in the community and on the new Bulldogs Foundation."

"H.E.C.F.I. is thrilled with this new partnership with the Hamilton Bulldogs", said Hamilton Entertainment and Convention Facilities C.E.O. Duncan Gillespie. "I believe giving H.E.C.F.I. control over Copps Coliseum's advertising and sponsorship programs will allow our marketing staff to package deals more creatively with the corporation's other two facilities; Hamilton Place and the Hamilton Convention Centre, and make for greater synergies across the three venues." Gillespie added, "This move will allow both organizations to focus on what they do best. H.E.C.F.I. will continue to market top-quality events and the Bulldogs can focus on bringing home another Calder Cup Championship."
