PEORIA, Ill. (February 21, 2009) - The Peoria Rivermen will be hosting a baby clothing drive, a canned food drive as well as the Quad City Flames for a 3:00 p.m. game at Carver Arena on Sunday. The events will take place as part of the March of Dimes "Rally for Healthy Babies" and the National FFA Can-Hunger-Million-Can-Challenge.
Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently-used baby clothes to the game to benefit the Crittenton Crisis Nursery. The nursery provides free 24-hour, 365-day childcare for families in crisis situations.
