Goaltender James Reimer Reassigned to Reading

Jeff Jackson, General Manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that goaltender James Reimer has been reassigned to their ECHL affiliate, the Reading Royals. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native started his second career AHL game in the Marlies 4-3 loss to the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday night and made 15 saves.

In 19 games with the Reading Royals of the ECHL this season, Reimer has a record of 8-6-2-1 with a 3.41 goals-against average and .901 save percentage.

The Marlies play their final game of an 11-game home stand this afternoon when they host the Rochester Americans - AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers - at 4:00 p.m. at Ricoh Coliseum. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a Don Cherry/Marlies cap, saluting the military. Today's game will air live on Rogers TV Cable 10 in Toronto and 63 in Scarborough.
