Suiter Promoted Directly to AAA Charlotte

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - The Kannapolis Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, have promoted outfielder Michael Suiter to the Triple-A Charlotte Knights on Monday. No corresponding move has been announced.

Suiter, 24, rejoined the White Sox organization in early May and has appeared in six games with Kannapolis this season, batting .238 (5-21) with a double and three runs scored. The outfielder was originally drafted by the White Sox in the 24th round of the June 2014 First-Year Player Draft, and he split last season between Kannapolis and Class A-Advanced Winston-Salem. During his 2015 campaign, Suiter put together an Intimidators record 23-game hitting streak from July 19 to August 14. This is Suiter's first promotion to Triple-A.

The Intimidators return home tonight to open a 3-game series against the Greensboro Grasshoppers at 7:05 p.m. at Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System.
