Stortini Loaned to the Admirals

Milwaukee, WI-Milwaukee Admirals Executive Vice-President/General Manager Phil Wittliff announced today that the Edmonton Oilers had recalled right wing Zach Stortini from the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League and reassigned him to the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL.

Stortini had a three points (2g-1a), 108 penalty minutes and a +6 rating with the Stars this season. A third-round draft pick of the Oilers in the 2003 NHL Draft, Stortini played four seasons for the Sudbury Wolves of the OHL where he racked up 746 PIMs and 120 points (55g-65a) in 250 games.

The Sudbury, ONT native will look to make his Admirals debut this Thursday when the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights make a visit to the Bradley Center. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 pm. For tickets, fans can call (414) 276-4545 or log on to www.ticketmaster.com.
