Columbus Calls Up Hartigan

Syracuse, NY (January 18, 2006) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that Columbus has recalled center Mark Hartigan and have reassigned right wing Tim Konsorada to Syracuse from Dayton (ECHL).

Hartigan, 28, has appeared in 29 games with Syracuse this season, tallying 17 goals, 26 assists and 32 penalty minutes. In 11 games with Columbus this season, Hartigan has tallied one goal and six penalty minutes. On Monday Hartigan extended his assist streak to 10 games (14a), setting a new Crunch franchise mark, previously held by Peter Schaefer (December 13-31, 1997). He is currently two games shy of tying Andy Delmore for the consecutive games with a point record at 15. In 223 career AHL games with Chicago and Syracuse, Hartigan has registered 86 goals, 108 assists and 266 penalty minutes.

A native of Fort St. John, British Columbia, Hartigan was re-signed by Columbus on August 22, 2005. Hartigan continues to climb the Crunch's all-time lists, moving into fourth place with 11 game-winning goals. He is fourth with 28 power play goals, is fifth with 71 goals and is seventh with 148 points.

Konsorada, 21, has appeared in 22 games with Dayton this season, recording 8 goals, 18 assists and 4 penalty minutes. In 13 games with Syracuse this season, Konsorada has tallied three goals, two assists and seven penalty minutes. A native of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Konsorada was selected by Columbus in the sixth round, 168th overall, in the 2002 Entry Draft.
