The Storm's 27-7-6 record gives Toledo 60 points, which places the Storm in first place in the overall ECHL point standings. Toledo's 27 wins ties the Storm with the Greensboro Generals and the Peoria Rivermen for the most wins in the league at this time. With the Storm's next win, the team will equal the total number of wins for the 2001-02 club (28-34-10).

Toledo's .750 win percentage is the best in the league.

The Storm has not been defeated in regulation in eight consecutive games (4-0-4), dating back to a 3-2 loss to the Peoria Rivermen at Carver Arena in Peoria on January 3, 2002. That represents the longest unbeaten streak this season for Toledo this season.

The Storm has not been defeated in regulation at home in eight consecutive games (4-0-4). The longest unbeaten streak for the franchise was set this season, when the Storm won the team's first eleven games at the Toledo Sports Arena. The Storm's record at home is currently (15-1-4), and with the next win at home, the Storm will tie the total number of wins that the team had all of last season at the Sports Arena (16-15-5).

The Storm is unbeaten in the team's last five games on the road (4-0-1), which establishes a season high for the team.

Toledo has only been beaten in regulation once in the sixteen games played since December 14, 2002 (11-1-4).

In the Storm's 5-2 win at Johnstown last Wednesday, the Storm trailed after one period (0-2) and also trailed after two periods (1-2). The Storm scored four third period goals to win that game. That marked the second time this season that Toledo has come back to win when trailing after one period (2-5-2) and the fourth time this season that the Storm have come back to win after entering the third period behind the opponent (4-6-1).

The four goals scored by the Storm in the third period against the Johnstown Chiefs last Wednesday tied a season high for Toledo for goals in a second period. The Storm has now scored four goals in a single period five times this season.

In both Friday night's game against Dayton and Saturday's game against Lexington, the contest ended in regulation time in a tie. In fact, five of the last eight games played by the Storm have ended regulation in a tie. The Storm is 1-0-4 in those five games. The Storm has now been in involved in ten games this season that have ended regulation in a tie, and Toledo is (4-0-6) in those games.

Alexandre Jacques scored with eleven seconds remaining in regulation to tie Friday night's game against the Dayton Bombers at three. At the time of that goal, the Storm goaltender was pulled and the sixth attacker was on the ice. That marked the third sixth attacker goal of the season for Toledo. The first one was scored by Wes Mason in the second game of the season, when he scored with 16 seconds left to tie the game at four. The other won was scored by Nick Parillo on November 24th against the Cincinnati Cyclones at 4:37 of the first period, when the goaltender was pulled on a delayed penalty.

Dayton won Friday night's game when they scored with just 21 seconds remaining in the sudden death overtime. That marked the third game this season for the Storm that has been resolved in overtime. Toledo is 1-0-2 in those games. (The Storm lost to Johnstown in overtime on October 12 and defeated the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies in OT on December 21).

Lexington won Saturday night's game in the longest shootout of the season for the Storm, as it went eight rounds before it was resolved (2-1). That was the seventh time that Toledo has gone to the shootout, and the team is 3-0-4 in those games. Toledo shooters have now attempted 35 shootout shots and scored on ten of them; while the opponents have scored 11 times on 35 attempts on Storm goaltenders.

Nine of the last ten games played by the Storm have been resolved by a one-goal differential. The Storm is now 12-2-6 in one goal games.

Storm goaltender, Mike Minard, played two games this week for the Storm. He was the goaltender of record in the 5-2 win over Johnstown (which was Minard 's first win in a Storm uniform), as well as the 3-2 shootout loss to Lexington, when he stopped 36 of the 38 shots he face. Minard is unbeaten as a member of the Storm, going 1-0-2 in the three games that he has played for Toledo.

Doug Teskey was the goaltender of record for the Storm in the 4-3 overtime loss to Dayton on Friday night. Teskey is unbeaten in his last nine games for the Storm (7-0-2), and his eighteen overall wins ties him for third in the league in that category.

Jeff Johnstone scored the game winning goal for the Storm against the Johnstown Chiefs, making it two game-winners in a row for him, as he also scored the game winner in the Storm's prior game against the Pensacola Ice Pilots. Johnstone also picked up a goal in both the overtime loss to Dayton and the shootout loss to Lexington, extending his goal scoring streak to a team high four games.

The Storm power play was kept off the board in all thirteen chances that the team had with the man advantage in the three games played this week. In fact, the power play has not scored in the last fifteen opportunities. Over the course of the season, Toledo has scored 40 power play goals in 237 chances, a 16.9% scoring ratio-sixteenth in the league.

The Storm penalty kill allowed just one goal in thirteen chances for the opponents with the man advantage in the three games played this week. Overall this season, the Storm PK has allowed 39 power play goals against in 236 chances-an 83.5% kill ratio, which is fifth in the league.
