NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - In the final game of the 2006-07 ECHL regular season, the South Carolina Stingrays defeated the Texas Wildcatters 5-1 in front of 6,016 fans at the North Charleston Coliseum.
South Carolina finishes in sixth place in the ECHL's South Division, one point behind Augusta, who finished in the fifth and final playoff spot.
"We had pride on the line tonight and the boys delivered," South Carolina coach Jason Fitzsimmons said. "They played hard for each other and the fans. We want to thank everyone for their support of the team this season and look forward to our 15th Anniversary Season starting in October."
