
Falcons to Meet Condors in First Round

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons will take on the Bakersfield Condors in the first round of the 2007 Kelly Cup Playoffs, with the series opening in Bakersfield on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
Following game one, the series shifts to Save Mart Center on Thursday for a 7:30 p.m. face-off. The series heads back to Rabobank Arena for game three on Friday, with the Falcons then hosting game four on Sunday at 5:00. If necessary, game five will also be at Save Mart Center on Monday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m. The final two games of the series are set for Bakersfield on Thursday, April 19 and Friday, April 20, with both games scheduled for 7:00 face-offs.
Last season, the two teams met in the Pacific Division Finals, with the Falcons prevailing four games to three.
The two teams met nine times during the 2006-07 regular season with the Falcons posting a 2-4-3 record against the Condors. Seven of the nine meetings were decided by one goal, with four of those games advancing to either overtime or a shootout. The other two games were both decided by two goals.

All Falcons' games air on 1550 Sporting News Radio starting with the Port of Subs Pre-Game Show 15 minutes prior to face off.
