vs Phoenix Roadrunners Game three of a three-game series (Victoria leads 2-0)
LAST GAME: The Salmon Kings secured an eight-game win streak in front of a season record 5,349 fans in game two versus the Roadrunners last night. Derek Krestanovich gave Victoria the 1-0 lead at 1:28 into the first period, slicing in from the left circle and beating Netminder Mike Morrison five-hole.
Victoria added two more goals in the second period. Kiel McLeod tallied his third goal of the series and Darryl Lloyd finished a lead pass from Paul Ballantyne for his tenth goal of the season.
Phoenix lit the lamp with 1:23 remaining in the game as Jeff Kyrzakos snapped a wristshot from the left slot, but Milan Gajic awakened the crowd with a sealing empty net goal with 33 seconds left.

PLAYOFF PICTURE Heading into the final game of the regular season, the Salmon Kings do not know who they will face in round one of playoffs next week....currently at seventh seed and will play second seed...Las Vegas holds first seed at 104 points; Alaska in second with 103 points...Las Vegas hosts Stockton...Alaska hosts Utah...Alaska would finish on top in overall points tie with Las Vegas (because of more wins)....Victoria can move up to sixth seed with a win and a Fresno loss; Victoria would play third seed Bakersfield...Fresno hosts Idaho tonight....regardless which team the Salmon Kings play in round one, they are guaranteed a home playoff game on Friday April 13th.
