
Stingrays Take on Texas Tonight

South Carolina Stingrays News Release
North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays will face off against the Texas Wildcatters tonight at the North Charleston Coliseum at 7:05 p.m. It is the seventh and final meeting between the two teams this season.
South Carolina (35-27-9, 79 points) is playing its final regular season game and final game this year. The Stingrays are 3-3-0 against the Wildcatters this year including 1-2-0 at the Coliseum. The last time these teams met, South Carolina shut out Texas 3-0 on Feb. 11.
Texas is playing for first place in the South Division and the American Conference, which can be clinched with a victory here tonight and an Augusta Lynx victory against the Florida Everblades. The Wildcatters, at 41-21-9, are currently one point back from the conference-leading Everblades.
Tonight is Fan Appreciation Night with free parking and a Team Photo Giveaway sponsored by Wendy's. Members of the 1996-97 Kelly Cup Championship team will be in attendance along with the Kelly Cup to recognize the 10 Year Anniversary of the 1st Kelly Cup victory for South Carolina.
