Stingrays Salute Youth Hockey in the Lowcountry Tonight as Team Hosts Pensacola

The Stingrays improved to 6-0-1 this season against North Division teams with a 3-1 victory over the Wheeling Nailers Sunday afternoon at the North Charleston Coliseum. Travis Morin, Marty Guerin, and Matt Scherer deposited goals while goaltender Josh Johnson turned in a 31-save effort for his 17th win of 2007-08. Pensacola, meanwhile, was tripped up in overtime last night by the Columbia Inferno, 4-3.
