
Stingrays Open In-State Rivalry Against Road Warriors Today

North Charleston, SC -The South Carolina Stingrays travel to the Upstate to battle the Greenville Road Warriors for the first time in team history today at 4:05 p.m. at the Bi-Lo Center. Catch all the action live on Fox Sports Radio 1450 and at www.stingrayshockey.com . Tonight is the first of 17 scheduled meetings between the two teams this season.

The Stingrays continue their five-game road trip on Friday, October 29 against the Road Warriors at 7:05 p.m. at the Bi-Lo Center. Kashing In
Stingrays forward Nikita Kashirsky lit the lamp twice in the Stingrays' 6-2 loss to the Gwinnett Gladiators Friday night.
Hoping History Can Repeat The Stingrays went 37-21-9 all-time against the Greenville Grrrowl (1998-2006). Today marks the first ever meeting between the Stingrays and the Road Warriors.
Professional Debut Defenseman Dustin Stevenson, forward Jordan Pietrus and goaltender Jared DeMichiel all made their pro hockey debuts last Friday against the Gladiators. Stevenson earned his first professional point with an assist on Kashirsky's goal in the first period, Pietrus recorded his first professional fight in the opening frame and DeMichiel made 11 saves on 12 Gladiator shots in 23:56 of work.
