Stingrays Giving Away 2015 Winter Classic Tickets to Benefit Carolina Youth Development Center

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, celebrating 22 seasons of hockey in the Lowcountry, are giving away two tickets and hotel accommodations for the 2015 National Hockey League (NHL) Winter Classic featuring the team's NHL affiliate, the Washington Capitals, against the Chicago Blackhawks in Washington, D.C. on New Year's Day.

Fans can enter to win the tickets with a $10 donation to the Carolina Youth Development Center (CYDC), a 501(C)(3) organization that provides programs reaching over 600 at-risk children and youth locally each year and care for young individuals with battling severe issues including physical and sexual abuse, neglect, abandonment, and severe emotional disorders. Founded in 1970, CYDC is a direct descendant of the Charleston Orphan House, America's first publicly funded orphanage. Click here for more information on the CYCD.

Participants in the contest receive one entry per $10 donation and a winner will be selected on Saturday, November 29 during the game against the Gwinnett Gladiators at 3:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum. Fans can enter at the Stingrays Customer Service Table during home games behind section 110 and online at StingraysHockey.com .

The Stingrays continue a five-game homestand tonight, Friday, November 7 at 7:05 against the Florida Everblades at the North Charleston Coliseum. Friday Family Four Packs are available at the Coliseum Box Office! Grab four tickets, four hotdogs, four sodas and large popcorn for $55! All college and military tickets are $7 with proper ID!

Celebrate Kid's Day and Crews Subaru Family Sunday on Sunday, November 9 against the Gwinnett Gladiators at 3:05 p.m. The first 1,000 kids (12 and under) receive a jersey from Hagemeyer USA and Liquid Box! All kid's tickets and kids meals are $5! Stay after the game and bring your ice skates for the Health First Postgame Skate with the Stingrays!
