Stingrays Gameday: Stingrays Begin Road Trip With Stop In Cincinnati

North Charleston, SC -The South Carolina Stingrays kick off a seven-game road trip with their first-ever regular season visit to Cincinnati to face the Cyclones at 7:30 p.m. at U.S. Bank Arena. Tonight is the first of four scheduled meetings between the two teams this season.

The Stingrays travel to Wheeling Saturday, January 30 to battle the Nailers at 7:50 p.m. at WesBanco Arena. Listen to all the play-by-play action LIVE on www.stingrayshockey.com ! Note of the Night: Rivalry Renewed The Stingrays and the Cyclones have met in the American Conference Finals in each of the last two seasons. In the 07-08 campaign, the Cyclones defeated the Stingrays in five games to eventually capture the team's first Kelly Cup title. Last season, the Stingrays swept the Cyclones and won their ECHL-record third Kelly Cup championship.

Big Brother Stingrays forward Gregg Johnson has one goal and five assists in his last four games.

Bruess is Better Stingrays rookie Trevor Bruess has four goals and five assists in his last five games. The stretch includes a hat trick scored on January 17 against the Gwinnett Gladiators.
