Wranglers Sign Pollastrone; Las Vegas Adds Former UNH Forward

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers® announced today that they have signed forward Jerry Pollastrone to an ECHL contract. Pollastrone, 23, played four years at the University of New Hampshire from 2005 to 2009. Pollastrone suited up for 150 games over his college career, and tallied 34 goals and 97 points for the Wildcats.

"Jerry is a player who has been on my radar for awhile. If not for an offseason injury he would have attended training camp with us." Wranglers General Manager / Head Coach Ryan Mougenel said. "Now that he is healthy, I am excited to see what he brings to our lineup. He has played at a high level against tough competition in college and I believe he will be able to translate his collegiate success to the professional ranks."

Pollastrone, 5'10", played with current Wranglers Craig Switzer and Greg Collins, as well as current NHL forward James Van Riemsdyk at the University of New Hampshire.
