North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays take on the Gwinnett Gladiators today at 3:05 on Crews Subaru Family Day and Kids Day at the North Charleston Coliseum. Today is the ninth of 16 meetings between to the two East-Division rivals this season.
Kids Day:
The first 1,000 kids (12 and under) receive a Stingrays Coloring and Activity Book! All kids tickets are $5 at the Coliseum Box Office at online at Ticketmaster. Kids meals on the Coliseum concourse are also $5! Bring your ice skates and stay after the game for the Health First Postgame Skate with the team! $5 Kids Tickets
Series Breakdown:
The Stingrays roll into today's contest with a 5-3-0-0 head-to-head record against the Gladiators. The two sides last met on January 10 in Duluth, Georgia with the Gladiators prevailing 4-3, snapping the Stingrays' five-game winning streak against the rivals. All time, the Stingrays sit with a 71-53-13 record.
Wave of Momentum:
The Stingrays are coming off their biggest win of the season last night, taking down the Greenville Road Warriors 7-1 in Greenville, South Carolina. Forward Andrew Ammon scored two goals and an assist, forward Tim Spencer added two tallies and forwards Patrick Gaul and Andrew Rowe each netted a goal and an assist.
Reaching the 1,000 Mark:
Defenseman Scott Ford reached 1,000 professional penalty minutes last night dropping the gloves against Greenville's Bretton Cameron in the second period.

The Stingrays hop on the road for a quick meeting against the Greenville Road Warriors on Tuesday, February 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena before returning home to celebrate the annual Dog Days of Winter contest with the Gladiators at the Coliseum on Friday, February 13 at 7:05 p.m. Bring your dog to the game for FREE (two dogs per person, must be trained)!
