
Jones Recalled by AHL Worcester

INDIANAPOLIS - Rookie Fuel defenseman Nick Jones, a 6'2", 200 lb. native of Scranton, Pennsylvania, was recalled for the third time this season by the AHL's Worcester Sharks, the Fuel announced Sunday. A right-handed shooting, 24 year-old blue-liner, Jones has one goal and 11 points to his credit, along with a +2 rating and four penalty minutes, in 22 ECHL appearances for the Fuel this season.
In 15 career AHL appearances for the Sharks, including 13 in 2014-15, Jones registered two combined assists, a +6 rating and two penalty minutes. Prior to his professional career, Jones logged 32 goals, 93 points and 38 penalty minutes in 156 NCAA appearances for the Mercyhurst College Lakers in four varsity seasons, from 2010 to 2014.
