Stingers, MoonDogs Tilt Postponed by Rain

MANKATO, MINN. - Due to unplayable field conditions, Wednesday night's game between the Mankato MoonDogs and the Willmar Stingers has been postponed. The game will be made up on Thursday, June 20 as part of a doubleheader. Willmar and Mankato will play two seven inning games with the first game starting at 6:05 p.m. Next for the Stingers is a brief homestand with one game against Mankato and one game against St. Cloud.
Thursday night's game against Mankato (8-6) is "Dueling Duo Night" presented by Miller Lite. The dueling pianos act will be entertaining during the game. 1st 250 adults 18 years of age or older will receive a Green Mill of Willmar gift card with various dollar amounts including one worth $1,000.
Friday night's game against St. Cloud is "Piggy Bank Giveaway & Quarter Drop Night" presented by Lake Region Bank. 1st 250 kids that receive a piggy bank will have a chance to pick up 1,500 quarters after the game.
The Stingers are 6-2 at home this season and trail Waterloo by a half game in the Northwoods League North Division.
