Steve Yeager to Visit Dow Diamond

MIDLAND, Mich. - Former Dodgers catcher, Steve Yeager, will be making a special appearance at the Great Lakes Loons game tonight (Tuesday, August 2) as a part of the Dodgers Route of Champion Nights which take place every Tuesday home game at Dow Diamond. Yeager will sign autographs and mingle with fans during the game.

Yeager will be available for media interviews from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 in the press box.

Yeager spent 15 seasons in the major leagues (1972-1986), 14 with the Dodgers, to establish a batting average of .228, with 816 hits, 357 runs, 118 doubles and 102 home runs for 410 RBI. The right-hander was drafted by the Dodgers in the fourth round of the 1967 amateur draft.
