November 16, 2005 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Iowa Chops News Release

On Saturday, November 19th, the Stars will welcome the Hamilton Bulldogs to Wells Fargo Arena at 7:05 PM. Before the game, the Iowa Stars will be collecting books for a donation to The Book Tree at the Festival of Trees and Lights, the largest annual fundraiser for Blank Children's Hospital. All fans are encouraged to bring a book to donate. Everyone that donates a book will receive a coupon for $5 off a $21 priced ticket to that night's game.

To help kickoff the book drive, Iowa Stars forwards Toby Petersen and Zack Stortini today stopped by Blank Children's Hospital, making an initial donation of books of various reading levels. Both players personally delivered the books to the Blank Children's Hospital playroom this afternoon. Toby and Zack read from a selection of books to the children in attendance, signing autographs and then visiting several children's rooms.
