In Tuesday's only AHL action, Valtteri Filppula recorded a goal and an assist in the third period before scoring the deciding shootout goal in Grand Rapids' 5-4 win over Manitoba... Wade Flaherty made 49 saves in the loss for the Moose.

LOOKING AHEAD:

A light Wednesday schedule is headlined by a Western Conference battle between Hamilton and Milwaukee at the Bradley Center (7:00 CT)... The Admirals bring a six-game winning streak into the game, their longest since winning their final seven games of the 2004 Calder Cup Playoffs... Milwaukee has outscored its opponents 30-10 during that span... Libor Pivko has recorded a point in six straight games for the Admirals (3g, 7a)... The Bulldogs have won three in a row overall, and three of four on the road this season... Cristobal Huet, 16-8-5 with Manchester in 2002-03, has been assigned to Hamilton on a conditioning loan from Montreal.

Bridgeport hosts Philadelphia on Wednesday (7:05 ET) looking to extend its five-game winning streak... The Sound Tigers have allowed seven goals in those five games, on the heels of allowing seven in a loss to Manchester on Nov. 4... Bridgeport, already sixth in the AHL scoring 3.57 goals per game, has added former AHL goal-scoring champion Jeff Hamilton... The Phantoms, who snapped a nine-game winless slide with a 5-2 victory over Binghamton on Sunday, have just one win in their last seven visits to Harbor Yard (1-3-3)... With his hat trick on Sunday, Pat Kavanagh has eight points (6g, 2a) in his last four games for Philadelphia.

Syracuse visits Cleveland in one of three AHL games on Thursday (7:05 ET)... Both teams are in the middle of a tight North Division race, where nine points currently separate the seven teams... The Barons have won five of their last six games, and Patrick Rissmiller has eight points in that stretch, including a goal and two assists in a 4-1 win over the Crunch on Nov. 6... Cleveland has posted five straight victories on home ice, a club record... The Crunch erased a five-game losing streak with weekend wins over Chicago and Albany... Geoff Platt has 12 goals in 13 games for Syracuse this season, tied for the AHL lead among rookies.

BY THE NUMBERS:

91.8 -- Penalty-killing efficiency of the Lowell Lock Monsters in 2005-06, tops in the league... AHL teams are combining for an average of 2.5 power-play goals per game this season, but Lowell has allowed just seven in 85 chances over 15 contests.
