Cassivi returns to Hershey, two home games this weekend

HERSHEY - The HERSHEY BEARS announced today in conjunction with the NHL's Washington Capitals that goaltender Frederic Cassivi has been returned on loan to the AHL club. The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.

Cassivi made his Capitals debut November 11 against the New Jersey Devils, making 26 saves in a 4-3 loss at the MCI Center. With HERSHEY this season, Cassivi leads the team in wins (five), goals against average (2.43) and saves percentage (.913). He is expected to accompany the BEARS to Philadelphia Friday night for the finale of the team's three-game road trip.

HERSHEY will return home for a pair of games this weekend at GIANT Center, with the Philadelphia Phantoms coming to call for the first time in 2005-06 on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. On Sunday, the Rochester Americans will visit HERSHEY for the only time this season in a 5:00 p.m. start.
