Canucks recall Green

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks Senior Vice-President and General Manager Dave Nonis announced today that the Canucks have recalled left wing Josh Green from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.

Green, 27, has played in 11 games for the Moose this season, accumulating 13 points (5-8-13) and eight penalty minutes. The 6'3", 225-pound forward spent last season with Manitoba, recording 40 points (21-19-40) in the regular season and 14 points (9-5-14) in 14 post-season games. Green is a nine-year NHL veteran who has played in 235 games. The Camrose, Alberta native has recorded 29 goals and 32 assists for a total of 61 points along with 154 penalty minutes during his NHL career. Green has dressed in four games for the Vancouver Canucks this season.
