
Stampede Acquire Forward Joe Dabbert

BOISE, Idaho, February 2, 2010 -- Your Idaho Stampede announced today the acquisition of forward Joe Dabbert from the Maine Red Claws in exchange for Cory Underwood.
Dabbert spent the 2008-09 season with the Colorado 14ers under current Stampede Head Coach Bob MacKinnon. While with Colorado Dabbert appeared in 50 games averaging 11.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per contest.
"I'm excited to add Joe to our team," said Stampede Head Coach Bob MacKinnon. "I think he will help provide and inside presence for us in both the offensive and defensive ends of the court."
The 6-10, 210-pound forward played four seasons at Creighton where he averaged 5.4 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.
The Colorado native will join the Stampede today and will wear #42 when Idaho takes on Sioux Falls tomorrow, February 3 in Boise. Tipoff is at 7:00 pm MST.
