
Jackson Signs Second Ten Day Contract

ERIE - The Cleveland Cavaliers' general manager Danny Ferry announced today that guard Cedric Jackson of the Erie BayHawks has signed a second ten-day contract. Jackson was the ninth GATORADE Call-Up of the 2009-10 NBA Development League season.
Jackson (6-3, 190 pounds) has played in four games this season with the Cavaliers. In seven total minutes, he has scored one point and recorded one rebound. He signed his first 10-day contract on January 23rd.
Jackson has appeared in 23 games for Erie this season (14 starts) and is averaging 14.7 points, 7.6 assists, 4.6 rebounds in 31.6 minutes. He has scored in double-figures 15 times and registered five double-doubles including season-highs in points (34) and assists (13) on Jan. 19 in a 121-113 road loss to the Austin Toros.
As a senior at Cleveland State in 2009, the 6-foot-3, 190-pounder was named 2009 Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year and to the All-Horizon League Second Team. In two seasons with the Vikings, he had career averages of 12.3 points on.405 shooting, 5.3 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 2.8 steals in 32.2 minutes per game.
The BayHawks will square off against the Iowa Energy, tomorrow night at 7 PM. It's another Smith's Hot Dogs One Buck Wednesday with one dollar Smith's hot dogs, beer, popcorn and pop. Tickets start at $5 and are sale now at the Tullio Arena box office.
The BayHawks have set Feb. 26 as Cavaliers Affiliate night. The game will feature Cavs mascot Moondog, the Scream Team and Cavalier Girls dance team.
