
Stamford Night & Family Four Packs Tomorrow

BRIDGEPORT, CT â The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, will host the Norfolk Admirals tomorrow, Thursday, April the 8th, at 7:05 p.m. at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard on "Stamford Family Fun Night" and "Family Four Pack Night".
Stamford residents and employees can purchase specially-priced tickets for tomorrow's game by showing proper identification at the Harbor Yard box office, which will be open from 9 a.m. until the end of the game. Arlen Henock, who is one of the biggest supporters of Stamford-area youth hockey, will drop the puck for a ceremonial pre-game face-off; Stillmeadow School will sing "God Bless America" during an intermission; the Stamford Sharks Squirt C Team will play a MasterCard mini-hockey game during an intermission; and the West Hill High School cheerleaders will lead the crowd in the YMCA tomorrow. Kevin Colley will also sign autographs on the arena concourse after tomorrow's game.
"Family Four Packs" include four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas and can be purchased for $55 by calling the Sound Tigers at 203-334-GOAL.
Barnum Financial Group Sound Tigers Kids' Club members can purchase $5 tickets to tomorrow's game by printing the form on the Kids link at www.soundtigers.com and taking it to the Harbor Yard box office as well.
The Sound Tigers will also host the Philadelphia Phantoms this Saturday at 7:05 p.m. in their final regular-season home game. Saturday's contest could be a showdown for first place in the East Division as the second-place Sound Tigers trail division-leading Philadelphia by four points in the standings with each team having three games left to play.
Saturday will be "Fan Appreciation Night". The Sound Tigers will giveaway 1,500 fan frames featuring the Team Mascot Storm and All-Star Jeff Hamilton. There will be an on-ice ceremony before the game in which the Sound Tigers will present their 2003-04 team awards with Wade Dubielewicz and Hamilton also receiving their AHL Awards. HealthSouth will raffle off a team-autographed replica jersey, and Wireless Zone will raffle off an autographed hockey stick. The Sound Tigers and their sponsors will also giveaway prizes to randomly-drawn seat locations throughout the course of Saturday's game.
Sound Tigers individual-game tickets are on sale at the Harbor Yard box office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and on all game days, as well as on-line at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 203-368-1000.
Sound Tigers 2004 Playoff Ticket Strip Packages are on also sale now offering guaranteed seating, savings off box office prices and the first option to purchase 2004-05 season tickets. Playoff Strips are available to all fans and can be purchased by calling the Sound Tigers at 203-334-GOAL.
