October 9, 2003 - ECHL (ECHL)
Fort Wayne Komets News Release
Goaltender Kevin St. Pierre, added to the Komet roster July 28, will miss the first 3 weeks of the regular season due to a hand injury suffered about a week ago. St. Pierre is expected to make his first start during the weekend of Nov. 7.
In St. Pierre's absence, the Komets have added goaltender Sean Weaver to the training camp roster. Weaver, 26, appeared in 32 games with the Flint Generals during his rookie season last year (10-14-2, .876 spct., 3.71 ave.).
In other news defenseman Sean O'Grady, originally agreeing to a Komet training camp tryout, has decided to take the road to Europe and play in Yugoslavia instead.
