Titans Sign Marty Johnston; Announce 2003-04 Promotional Schedule

Trenton, NJ - The Trenton Titans Professional Hockey Team announced today that they have signed forward Marty Johnston to an ECHL contract for the 2003-04 season.
Johnston had an outstanding rookie season last year between Florida (ECHL) and Lowell (AHL). In 53 games with Florida he netted 22 goals, 41 assists and 52 penalty minutes. Johnston notched two goals, two assists and 20 penalty minutes in 17 games with Lowell. The 5'8", 180 lb Gloucester, Ontario native spent the previous three years at Dalhousie University where he totaled 47 goals and 106 points in just 76 games. Johnston was in training camp in the AHL this month with the Syracuse Crunch.

The Titans begin "Five Years of Riveting Hockey" sponsored by St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center on Friday night October 17th at 7:30 pm against the Reading Royals at the Sovereign Bank Arena.
