Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies News Release
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. â The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL are pleased to announce two changes to their front office team. Joe Harrington joins the organization as Director of Ticket Operations and Sales, and Stephen Hornikel has been promoted to Assistant Director of Ticket Operations and Sales. Both changes are effective immediately.
Harrinton, 35, comes to the Bullies from the Atlantic City Surf Professional Baseball Club where he served as the Director of Ticket Operations since September of 2002. In addition, he worked previously with the Surf as Director of Special Events, Promotions, and Services from January of 1998 through October of 2000. The Penns Grove, NJ native also served as the General Manager of the Wilmington Sharks Baseball Club in Wilmington, NC.
Hornikel, 25, joined the Bullies in March of 2003 as an Account Manager during the team's Kelly Cup Championship run. The 25-year old native of Mays Landing graduated from Alvernia College in 2000 with a degree in Management and Marketing, and played four years of Varsity Soccer. While at Alvernia, Hornikel orchestrated the school's hockey program and later on both played and coached for the team.
"We're very proud of Stephen's accomplishments since he's been on board, and we look forward to welcoming Joe to the Bullies family," said Dan Belisle, Bullies Vice President and General Manager. "Both of these gentlemen will be integral parts not only to our sales department, but to the organization as a whole.
Atlantic City will host their lone pre-season game on Sunday against Reading at the Red Bank Armory in Red Bank, NJ. Game time is 2:05PM and tickets are available by calling the Red Bank Armory at (732) 450-9001.
