
St-Denis Named to 2012 AHL All-Star Classic Team

SPRINGFIELD, MA - The American Hockey League announced today that Hamilton Bulldogs defenceman Frederic St-Denis was named to the Western Conference roster for the 2012 AHL All-Star Classic, which will take place on January 29-30, 2012 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J.
St-Denis, a native of Greenfield Park, Quebec, is appearing in the AHL All-Star Classic for the first time. The 25-year old defenceman has played 23 games for the Bulldogs this season, recording 3 goals and 13 assists for a total of 16 points. The 5-foot-11, 192-pound defencemen has also played 8 games in the NHL this season, scoring 1 goal in 4 shots and earning a plus/minus rating of +1 with the Montreal Canadiens. In 76 games with the Hamilton Bulldogs in the 2010-2011 season, St-Denis posted 23 points (5 goals, 18 assists).
Fans will have the opportunity to vote for the starting lineups for the 2012 AHL All-Star Game from January 5-23, 2012 by visiting theahl.com or facebook.com/theahl and completing the official Reebok AHL All-Star Fan Ballot. Voters will also be entered to win a grand prize of a team-signed authentic 2012 AHL All-Star jersey, and five more winners will each receive a pair of tickets to the 2012 AHL All-Star Skills Competition and All-Star Game, courtesy of Insurance Office of America.
