
Spokane Faces Prince George in First Round

The Spokane Chiefs (8) will take on the Prince George Cougars (1) in Round One of the 2024 WHL Playoffs.
The series will begin in Prince George with games one and two on Friday, March 29th and Saturday, March 30th. Spokane will host games three, four, and, if necessary, five in the Spokane Arena on Tuesday, April 2nd, Wednesday, April 3rd and Friday, April 5th, respectively.
Individual tickets for games three and four will go on sale on Tuesday, March 26th at 10:00 a.m. by calling (509) 535-PUCK, by visiting www.spokanechiefs.com or the Chiefs office on the southeast corner of the Spokane Arena. Ticket package holders can reserve their seats for the post-season by visiting www.spokanechiefs.com or calling the Chiefs office starting Monday morning at 9:00 a.m.
Potential games six and seven will return to Prince George on Monday, April 8th and Wednesday, April 10th.
The Chiefs went 2-1-1-0 against the Cougars this season, with three of those meetings being decided by a single goal and two requiring overtime.
This will be the fourth time these clubs have met in the postseason, with Spokane winning the most recent best-of-seven matchup 4-1 in the 2000 Western Conference Finals. Before that, Spokane also won a best-of-five series over Prince George in the second round of the 1998 WHL Playoffs.
