Medicine Hat Tigers News Release
Medicine Hat, AB - The final game of the 2023-2024 WHL Regular Season schedule for the Medicine Hat Tigers (37-23-5-2) goes down tonight as it's the final meeting of the Highway 3 rivalry with the Lethbridge Hurricanes (32-28-7-0) Saturday night.
The Tigers look to finish the regular season on the highest note possible after pulling together back to back wins including Friday night's 3-2 overtime winner in Lethbridge as the Tigers took a slight advantage in the nine game season series with the Hurricanes. Now 4-3-1 on the campaign.
Both teams have solidified who they will play in the first round of the WHL Playoffs as after the loss to the Tigers, Lethbridge will face Swift Current in Round One, while the Tigers will be in the 4th vs 5th match-up with the Red Deer Rebels.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early as the Tigers Awards for the 2023-2024 will be handed out prior to puck drop. Puck drop set for 7:10 PM. It's also Fan Appreciation Night as plenty of prizing including autographed Tigers jerseys and sticks are up for grabs.
The game will be broadcasted live on the home of the Tigers, Wild 94.5 with the Voice of the Tigers Gino De Paoli & Lance Doll starting with the pre-game show at 6:45.
