
Hurricanes to Face Broncos in First Round of WHL Playoffs

LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club, in conjunction with the Western Hockey League, has announced that the 'Canes will face the Central Division Champion Swift Current Broncos in a best-of-seven first-round series in the 2024 WHL Playoffs presented by Stringam Law.
The best-of-seven first-round series will mark the first time since 2018 that the Hurricanes and Broncos will meet in the WHL post-season and just the second time ever the two will face in the playoffs. The series will begin on Friday, March 29th at the InnovationPlex in Swift Current.

The post-season berth for the Hurricanes marks the eighth consecutive year that the 'Canes have qualified for the WHL Playoffs- the longest streak in team history.
Fans can also take advantage of a buy-one-get-one free deal for Games 3 and 4 of the first round; purchase an adult ticket and receive a free youth ticket to the same game- courtesy of Mikado Electric, Avail CPA, Colin Harms at Sothebys, Kasko Cattle and Simpson Plumbing. Individual game tickets for the first-round of the playoffs will go on sale on Tuesday, March 26th at 10:00am. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre, by calling 403- 329-SEAT (7328) or online at www.enmaxcentre.ca.
