Sound Tigers Sign Reid to PTO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that Cam Reid has been signed to a Professional Try Out.

Reid, 23, has played in 50 games with the Reading Royals of the ECHL. He is second on the team in assists (27) and points (47), while he is tied for the team-lead in goals with 20.

The Delta, B.C., native has appeared in 68 American Hockey League games in his career, 54 of them coming with the Milwaukee Admirals during the 2012-13 season. The 6'3, 207 pound forward has notched five goals and 18 assists for 23 points in his AHL career.

A seventh round selection of the Nashville Predators in the 2009 National Hockey League Draft (192 nd overall), Reid played two years at St. Cloud State University from 2010-12. He has yet to play in the AHL this season.
