Marlies Defeated in Utica 5-2
February 20, 2015 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Toronto Marlies News Release
The Toronto Marlies and Utica Comets met for the seventh of eight meetings between the two clubs this season. Despite an early third period surge, the Marlies would be unable to erase the two goal lead Utica built over the first two periods. Scoring from the Marlies came courtesy of Ryan Rupert, who has six points over his last four games, while Brendan Leipsic scored his first as a Marlie.
The Marlies return to the Ricoh Coliseum Saturday February 21st for a match-up against the Texas Stars and Sunday against the Charlotte Checkers. Puck drop for both games is at 3:00 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at marlies.ca/tickets or by calling 416-597-PUCK (7825).
