February 20, 2015 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Chicago Wolves News Release

Chicago Wolves forward ROB BORDSON will appear at the Crystal Lake Public Library on Tuesday, Feb. 24, to continue the 20th season of the "Read to Succeed" program, presented by Butternut Bread and J.U.L.I.E., Inc.

The 26-year-old BORDSON, who grew up in Minnesota and studied Accounting at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, will start his program at 7 p.m. at 126 Paddock Street in Crystal Lake.

The "Read to Succeed" program teaches the importance of recreational reading and encourages children to use the many resources that libraries have to offer. BORDSON will speak about the benefits of reading outside the classroom and discuss how it plays an important part in his life as a professional athlete.

Participants can win prizes -- including Wolves knit hats, pennants, and tickets to upcoming games -- for setting and achieving reading goals.

Throughout the season, more than 17,000 children will participate in the program, with Wolves players making appearances at select libraries throughout the Chicago area.
