Sound Tigers Release Castonguay from PTO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn (Nov. 28, 2010) - The Sound Tigers have announced that they have released forward Eric Castonguay from his professional tryout contract (PTO).

Castonguay signed a PTO with the team today and appeared in the Sound Tigers' 3-0 win over the Norfolk Admirals at the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport. Castonguay scored the second goal of the game on a deflection at the 6:54 mark of the third period. The fourth-year pro was a plus-1 for the game and earned third star of the game honors for his performance . Castonguay returns to the ECHL's Reading Royals where he has four goals and six assists in 10 games this season.
