Providence, RI - Mark Mancari scored three times and added an assist to lead the Portland Pirates to a 5-1 win over the Providence Bruins in an American Hockey League game played this afternoon in front of 5,222 at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.

Drew Schiestel and Corey Tropp netted the other goals for the Pirates, who ended a three-game losing streak with the win and moved to 14-6-1-0 on the season. Matt Ellis and Marc-Andre Gragnani supplied two assist each in the win.

David Ling scored the lone goal for Providence, who dropped their second straight and are now 9-8-2-1 on the season.
