Castonguay Signs PTO with Sound Tigers

BRIDGEPORT, Conn (Nov. 28, 2010) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced Sunday that they have signed forward Eric Castonguay to a professional tryout contract (PTO).

Castonguay, 23, comes to the Sound Tigers from the Reading Royals of the ECHL. The fourth-year pro has 10 points (four goals, six assists) in 12 games this year with the Royals. The Granby, P

Q native recorded seven points last season in 45 games with the AHL's Lowell Devils. Prior to his professional debut in 2007, Castonguay played for the Lewiston MAINEiacs of the QMJHL.
